Neighbors on Wheels

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves, Neighbors on Wheels is the manifestation of that heart at Crab Orchard Baptist.

Garden Project

Originating from a life group table aiming to enrich our food pantry with fresh options. Utilizing our very own garden we hope to provide an opportunity for sustainable fresh food source for those we serve in our community.

Food Distribution

Every week we get to serve 4 locations in our community with food trailers and trucks of food. The hope is that in meeting this vital need other concerns in life that make us whole persons can be attended to. Several partners make this ministry possible Mountaineer Food Bank, local grocery stores, and the USDA. Our favorite partner is our very own Garden Project!

Carpenter's Crew

Carpenters Crew glorifies God by providing home maintenance and repairs through donations and volunteer work. Each third Saturday, volunteers share Christ's love by helping neighbors. In May, we support NOW's furniture drive, accepting and delivering donated furniture to local residents in need.

Blessings in a Backpack

Weekends can be long to children facing hunger challenges. Friday is “grocery day” as NOW volunteers prepare bags with oatmeal, raisins, granola, cereal etc. for these students to take home for the weekend. It's our way of reminding our children that they are seen and known.
